    OM NAMO NARAYANAYA
My reverential prostrations at the Feet of beloved Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother, Swami Vivekananda, Swamiji Maharaj and Swami Saradaprabhanandaji Maharaj.
It was such a joy to see the latest post on the role of the Guru, not only because of the inspiring content, but also because Master has chosen to lift Maharaj’s writer’s block! Sri Ramakrishna is so enslaved by His devotees that He had to heed their yearning for new posts.
I just read about Maharaj’s planned visit to Ladysmith at the end of June. This is such welcome news! However, I am disappointed as I will be away on holiday in Phuket at that time. Nonetheless, my thoughts will be homeward bound and I am certain that the Ladysmith devotees will derive great benefit from the visit.
I guess it is again Master’s will that Maharaj’s connection with this devotee is limited to an e-connection. However, I am thankful for this.

      Dear Sister
This morning just a thought passed through my mind about the wonderful qualities of the SA Devotees. And your comment was there when I opened my blog. Devotion of the devotees is indeed infectious. To be with the people who are full of devotion does generates bhakti in our minds. It was always delightful to visit our branches and meet the devotees.
I have of course provisionally planned to visit Ladysmith by the end of this month. My visit seems to be long pending. But I am not yet certain whether I shall be able to go there since that depends upon certain matters to be complete by that time. I shall accept as Master’s Will even if I am made to feel content with e-connection only.
      May Master bless you all!

    Om Namo Narayanaya Swamiji,
I cannot help but respond to your presence and invaluable contribution that you have made to us, devotees in Ladysmith, Northern Natal. Swamiji, you have certainly touched us with your words of inspiration, guidance and wisdom. Your address at the Vedanta Retreat was so fulfilling that one did not have space for lunch thereafter!
I pray that Master blesses us with the necessary spiritual energy to practice all that was shared with us by Yourself, and the three presentations that followed thereafter.
I, together with my family, have imbibed all that we could and wish that Maharaj was constantly here to offer such inspiration as a dosage of chronic medication. We have enjoyed your discourse thoroughly and your reflections and references to the Mahabharata was certainly a brilliant way for us, devotees to remember the salient points made. This (the Mahabharat) is such a powerful source of information for us, Hindus, and also an education to us all, like the Gita. If we can access and practice the teachings of this epic in its totality we have everything to gain and nothing to lose!
Finally, the viewing of the DVD presenting the musical display of the Indian Anthem at the end of the agenda was certainly a bonus much appreciated and it must be admitted, it brought tears to our eyes…!

      Dear Neranjan
I have just no enough words to thank you and other member-devotees of the LDS sub-centre in according me the wonderful memorable hospitality. That weekend was restful as well as hectic. The Retreat was spiritually most enjoyable. I too noted with appreciation the three Slide-Presentations on the three Householder Devotees of our Master viz., Rani Rasamani, Balaram Basu and Mahendranath Gupta. I saw about 250 people from all the five Northern Natal branches attending Retreat in that cold weather, keenly interested in the proceedings and also participating in the Question-Answer session especially by the Youth members. Overall it was indeed a rejuvenating experience for all.
May the thirst for spirituality be on the increase is my prayer!
      Swami Vimokshananda
